SPECIAL ZOOM MEETING with Attorney Andy Teitelman Re: Lawsuit Appeal Status and How You Can Join via Amicus Curiae

September 22, 2024 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

Attorney handling the appeal of the Casper v. BCRC & PAGOP in Commonwealth Court discusses the status of the lawsuit as well as the ability for ANY Pennsylvania voter to participate via an Amicus Curiae (Friend of the Court) Brief.

The Bucks County Court ruled (incorrectly in our opinion) that the Commonwealth has not standing to mandate that a private entity (in this case the Bucks County Republican Committee) is not subject to the corporate statutes of the Commonwealth when it comes to using proxy voting in its internal elections. The law is clear – if you don’t have valid bylaws on file, then your organization is NOT allowed to accept proxy votes.

This ruling affects ALL Pennsylvania voters because it renders your political committees UNTOUCHABLE and UNACCOUNTABLE in how they handle their internal affairs, legal or not!

We are encouraging ALL interested voters to learn what this lawsuit is all about and how they can participate and force the courts to uphold the laws of the Commonwealth.

Political committees are not above the law!
